Summary: David cries out to the LORD, because the LORD has delivered him from men that place themselves above God. Therefore the LORD gives a freewill offering to the LORD and gives him thanks.
ReplyDeleteApplication: The common thread in my enemies is they put themselves above God. The common thread amoung non-Christians is that they put themselves above God. LORD the battle and the victory is yours. Help me to trust in you forever and ever and to praise your name because you will bring justice.
Summary:
ReplyDeleteDavid asks God for help and protection from those who try to kill him. He pleads with God and then praises God. He asks that the evil people who try to kill him have their evil turned against them.
Application:
God, help me to be comfortable to share my feelings with You and ask You for help with the things in my life. I know You are in control and know everything that will ever be, but I need to share with You and ask You for help. Also, help me to follow Your path as I understand that nothing good can come out of evil or sin. Thank you for being my “Dad” and friend who I can share my feelings with.
